Jeff Masters LMT, E-RYT, NASM-CPT, MPCT, MSc. (Hon.)”A visionary is someone who trusts what they perceive outside and what they sense inside, and values both equally.” – Hugh Milne

Jeff Masters LMT, ERYT, MPCT, Msc. (Hon.), a visionary therapist and teacher, has been researching consciousness and the human energy field for over 30 years. In that time he has studied with some of the most luminous minds in the fields of mind/body science including Marcel Vogel (IBM & Psychic Research Inc.), Paul St. John (St. John’s Neuromuscular Therapy), Rama Jyoti Vernon (International Yoga College) and Dr. Vasant Lad (The Ayurvedic Institute).

Jeff’s journey began at five years old when he was exposed to very powerful unseen forces, which not only affected his whole family, but also radically fractured his understanding and experience of reality. This seminal experience led to an early life of openness and curiosity about the world of the unseen.

At eight years old, along with practicing martial arts, Jeff was initiated into meditation and yoga.

Shortly after, he was introduced to his first spiritual mentor, Joyce Needles, and began attending weekly meditation sessions. Under the groups guidance, Jeff began to hone his energy awareness and intuitive skills. Prompted by his desire to learn about the healing arts, Joyce introduced him to Ms. Ronnie Turner to continue to hone Jeff’s body working and energy skills.  She would become his life long mentor in the healing arts. Guided by Joyce and Ronnie, Jeff would develop the skills of seeing and sensing energy in the body and the energetic techniques or soft tissue manipulations, to release or re-route these subtle patterns.

Jeff performed his first professional massage at sixteen. Also during this time, Joyce introduced him to Marcel Vogel, a former researcher and development scientist for IBM, who was then the director of Psychic Research Inc. in San Jose, CA. After a rigorous interview, testing process, and twist of fate, Jeff was hired to work at the laboratory. He graduated High School early, moved to San Jose and, began working as a research and development tech and technical intuitive for the lab.

A little over a year later, after many adventures in and outside of the lab as a researcher, intuitive and investigator, Jeff joined the United States Army as a Military Intelligence specialist. His continued practice of meditation, martial arts and military combat training, allowed Jeff to ground many of the energies and skills that he had developed over the first sixteen years of his life into his body.

In December 1993, while still in the Army, Jeff gave his first workshop, “Energy Awareness, Cultivation and Transference” at Creative Crossroads in Oakhurst, CA.

In 1996 at the age of 25, Jeff left the Army and relocated to Pennsylvania. Three years after that, he completed a life long dream and became a certified, licensed massage therapist (two weeks into the program he was asked to teach). From 2001 onward, Jeff has dedicated his life to assisting as many people as possible through individual sessions as well as intensive classes, workshops and retreats. Jeff’s deep and varied background creates a rich and accessible learning environment for his students and clients. From hands on bodywork to classroom based lecture and instruction, Jeff’s students share one thing in common: his unwavering commitment to their journey along the path of self-discovery and personal transformation.
