Embodying The Inner Practice of Yoga – New York City
September 22, 2017 - September 24, 2017

Join Jeff Masters for a weekend of exploring and expanding our awareness of the subtle aspects of Yoga. From bridging the gap between the eastern science of yoga and western anatomy, to traversing the inner landscape of subtle awareness and energy, this weekend is guaranteed to expand your understanding and re-invigorate your practice.
Friday Evening – The Embodied Universe: The Koshas & Issues In The Tissues
Friday night we will start our journey by exploring the Koshas, specifically the connection between the Annamaya and Pranamaya Koshas, and how they communicate and interrelate with each other in our experience of the practice of Yoga and our daily life.
Saturday (All Day) – The Pranic Pathways of Transformation – Our Nervous System and the physical experience of the Nadis
Saturday we will build on the foundation of knowledge shared Friday night and begin to unpack the pathways of awareness that lay at the boundary between sensory awareness and the subtle body. Through embodied practices, students will explore the gross (Stula Sarira), subtle (Suksma Sarira) and causal (Karana Sarira) bodies and their connecting channels (Nadis) of awareness and energy.
Sunday (All Day) – The Tantric Practice of Yoga
Sunday is all about integration. Incorporating āsana, prāṇāyāma, mantra and bandha, students will expand their awareness and energize their practice. Time will be set aside on Sunday for students to explore the energetics of physical assists and how they can be used to open up channels of energy and awareness.
Don’t miss this workshop in beautiful New York City!
